Course Information
One-day course
All courses start with Richard giving a short demonstration, generally lasting about 20 minutes.  This gives beginners an insight into the craft, as well as providing an update for those who have been on his courses previously.
After the demonstration of basic techniques, each individual will receive further tuition commensurate with the task in hand, as they hammer away at their anvils.
Two-day course
The two-day course starts in a similar way to the one-day session, but is intended to be more 'in-depth' as design and techniques are able to be further explored.
Opportunity to look more widely at the potential for interpreting the plasticity of hot metal, is realised with there being more time available for experiment
and improvisation.
